Web Prosperity Tools – Do you get a fully functional autoresponder?
Do you get a fully functional autoresponder with Web Prosperity?
That is the remarkable question of the day, it seems.
Most MLM programs will only allow you to email to your contacts about their program. Since WebProsperity has a major partner with Implix, the GetResponse people, it leads us to ask:
Will we get a fully functional autoresponder? Will this allow us to post to our own contacts about our own businesses and actually USE the tools of WebProsperity to prosper in our own business?
This is the question we asked. This is the answer we received. Emphasis is mine.
(2009-01-13 08:57:45) WebProsperity:
WebProsperity Contact was build (sic) using GetResponse’s
technology. However, some features are limited or are
not available here as well as they depend on the
package you buy (Premium or Elite).
The responder can be used for promoting your own
business, however there is no such feature as
saving subscribers in groups and sending broadcasts
to them. You will be able to send the broadcasts
to your downline only.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions,
I’ll be happy to help.

From Dan, Admin:
Hi Loren, AKA Malibu Mentor, I hope you don’t mind my re-posting of your comments about WP’s autoresponder, or the alleged lack thereof. Here’s what Loren said in reply to a blog post stating that you do NOT get a full autoresponder with Web Prosperity:
Loren Woirhaye Says:
January 15th, 2009 at 2:19 pm This is not accurate. You CAN create unlimited autoresponders
and lead capture forms to promote anything you want to with
the email system. I wondered about this issue myself. Here’s how to do it:Log-in to your back office.Click on the “contact” icon.
Then click on the “Switch to Advanced Mode” button
In advanced mode you can create unlimited autoresponders
and sign-up forms. It’s very similar to GetResponse in
the way it works.Perhaps Ian didn’t get the WebProsperity premium version.
If he had the basic version he probably did not have
access to the advanced features.I am testing the video capture. It defaults to a not-very-impressive
resolution but it takes uploads of any quality. It has custom
settings for audio, compression, and video frame capture
rate. I haven’t explored it all yet but diligent users should
be able to make fast-loading videos easilt and quickly with
a little tweaking.
